motivation monday

This past weekend I spent most of the weekend taking care of the things I haven’t been able to find time for in the past couple of weeks.  On Saturday, I went to get my nails done.  It was also homecoming at the high school so it was fun to see and hear all of the high school kids talk giddily about their fun night ahead.

I also spent a lot of time relaxing with my pups!

On Sunday, my mom surprised me with a text that she would be about 35 minutes away from where I live – so I went to have lunch and encouraged her to buy a very cute pair of boots!  It was so great to see her if only for a few hours!

This week is going to be busy but I’m committing to TIU this week – both nutrition wise and work out wise!  I’ve found that I can stay pretty motivated by doing one or the other, but this week I’m really going to try to follow both plans.  Karena and Katrina send out a weekly work out schedule which keeps me SUPER motivated.  It’s always different and their youtube work out videos always keep my attention.  If you need some motivation, check out toneitup.com and sign up to receive their weekly work out schedule!

Question: (feel free to answer in the comments!)

What motivates you?

What did you celebrate this weekend?

the first celebration

Last week I had a bad day which left me feeling pretty indifferent towards things in my life.  I had a bad day at work, my grandma went to the hospital, and a sorority sister passed away.  It was hard for me to find something to celebrate that day.

So here I am, making an effort to celebrate daily.  Making an effort to have something in my life daily to celebrate.  In starting this blog, I’m hoping to hear from others what they celebrate too.  (More on that later!)

I’m at a point where I don’t want to feel indifferent.  So this is the start of the daily celebrate.
